Hi there, my dad passed away in may this year and i would like to get a tattoo in his memory. I would appreciate it if somebody could please translate this into scottish celtic - I love you dad, may you be at peace - Thanks for any help

Hi. I'm sorry to hear about your father. This is an Irish language forum - not a Scottish Gaelic one. They are two different languages. I'm sure if you Google it, you will find an equivalent Scottish Gaelic site. Good luck.

Tha gaol agam ort a bhobain, gum bi thu fa shìochaint would be my idea in Scottish Gaelic, (with the caveat that although I can read Scottish Gaelic fairly well I don't speak much). Tá cion agam ort a dhaid, go raibh tú faoi shuaimhneas. would be my idea in Irish.
