Haigh,
jusy wonders why "dramhaíl teaghlaigh" is given and household waste and comes up over 350 times in google while "dramhaíl theaghlaigh" only comes up 3 times? I would have thought "dramhaíl theaghlaigh" would be correct since dramhaíl is fem. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

It's the so-called dentals rule When words beginning with d,t, or s, follow a word ending with d,n,t,l, or s, they mostly do not lenite.

Go raibh maith agat arís Gealún! I know about the dentals rule but had forgotten all about the "l" as part of that rule. Thanks a lot.
