I think gaol is the word then, it covers all that as a collective noun.
There is also muintir which translates as people, but with a possessive pronoun - e.g. - my, your..., it also conveys the idea of your family but I think more in the terms of your side of the family as in the husband's people, the wife's people.

Aibhlín or Eibhlín would probably both be good for Evelyn. Aibh(i)lín is the older form. Although I would pronounce Eibhlín as Eileen.
