Would someone please provide the pronunciation for the following phrase? " Is trua liom do chás. Ní raibh m'aithreachas ar aon duine riamh" If I'm not mistaken, i believe it means something like "I am sorry for your troubles. No one regrets as much as I do." But please correct me if my translation is wrong. I would like the pronunciation of the Irish phrase. I understand the universal phonetic alphabet, so phonetic text would be preferred. But if not, the best english-sounding pronunciation hhtt you can provide. Thanks!

I'm not sure what context this will be used in but I think "aithreachas" is more often used for regret in the sense of repent, for sins and deeds and such like committed stuff.
To hear it pronounced you can type it in here. http://www.abair.tcd.ie/index.php?page= ... s&lang=eng if you put a full stop after each word you will get a sound file for each word. |

Is it allowed to give addresses of other websites??? I thought it was against forum rules. |
