Hi, I have recently encountered a problem with the name of our bar to be AN SIBíN, pub and ceili house. The problem is there is a bar close to us called the ceili cottage who are asking us to change the ceili part of our name. The reason we have pub and ceili house is due to our live music sessions 5 days a week. We need another term for ceili house that shows we are a music orientated pub, a term that is simple and in irish gaelic. I have thought of sessiun but what else could be said beside it eg sessiun and ..... also fleadh but the same problem arises. If anyone knows of any other terms please help it would be greatly appreciated. my Irish is very rusty

An Síbín should have an accent on the first i as well.
Seisiún has only one s in the middle. Typo there Beagle - teach ceoil |

Possibly - as long as you are aware that it is not the standard spelling. It appears that síbín is also usual in Connemara. Where do they use a short i? |
