Hi, I am looking for a translation of the English phrase 'hand, act or part'. I want to say
He is looking out at the world in which he has no hand, act or part to play.

I would have thought it goes something like: Tá sé ag radharc ar an saol nach bhfuil sé páirteach de.

But is there something slightly fancier?

Any help is much appreciated.

Tá sé ag amharc amach ar an saol mór, saol nach bhfuil baint ná páirt aige leis.
