I am born of oak,
grandfather of the forest.
I am born of copper,
heart of the northlands.

This is what google has to say:

seanathair na foraoise.

Does this sound right? Are there grammatical errs?

Looks good to me. The word coille could also be replaced with foraoise, but the usage probably varies by dialect.
The phrase croí an tuaiscirt means "heart of the north", but is nice and succinct, fitting the pattern which Gealún set up, and "northlands" is a Germanic structure, so it would be hard to reproduce in Irish.

Coille sounds a lot more poetic than foraoise in my opinion. Gineadh as copar mé is another option.
