Hi all, Im looking to have my daughters name tattooed on my wrist. I would love to have Isabel in Gaelic, obviously I want it to read correct and look the part as it's forever. If anyone can help in translating Isabel into gaelic I would really appreciate any help. Regards Laura. :)

I'm afraid your daughter's name won't translate into Irish. Her name is Isabel, you chose it for her, and it's a beautiful name, be proud of the name you have given her.

Isn't "Isabel" the Spanish for "Elizabeth"?
So then the Irish is "Eilís".
It's not rocket science.

Sibéal came from Isobel. Eilís came from Eliza
