Can anyone give me a complete correct translation of ' Never get burned again'. I want to get this as a tattoo and seeing as it will be permanent i really want it to be correct. Thanks in advance.

As far as I know the English idiom using burned to mean being cheated or deceived does not carry into Irish. A direct translation wont give that sense. It will suggest literal burns.

I was actually looking for that sort of translation, literally never get burned again.

Maybe: Dófaidh mé go brách arís Wait for more opinions as mine doesn't sound quite right, grammatically.

Ná bí dóite arís ariamh.
Don't ever be burned again.
Ná dóigh tú féin arís ariamh
Don't ever burn yourself again.

It's awkward to translate this as an imperative, perhaps this might be better...(I am more confident with this)

Nár dhóitear tú arís ariamh
May you never be burned again.

kenalian -
Ní dhófaidh mé go brách arís = I will never burn again
Dófaidh mé ... = I will burn for ever again
