I'm looking for the translation of "Little One" in Irish Gaelic. My artist is ready to do the tattoo but I'm nervous about the translation.

fiarefeadha's question was important. In Irish, you need to know what kind of little thing is involved. It's possible to say ceann beag ("[a] little one"), but it would sound odd by itself, out of context, and since you mentioned it being something which a person might be called, it would be duine beag ("[a] little person"), except that If you were calling someone that in person (i.e. speaking to the person), then it would be A dhuine bhig ("O Little Person").
Please Note: I'm not a fluent speaker, so be sure to wait for comments or corrections from others.
