I'd like to say, "I love my Billy" but am not sure if "Is breá liom mo Billy" translates when talking about a person. Can you advise?

Definitely not! That's the wording you'd use to say "I love pizza" or "I love New York." Tá grá agam do mo Billy: I love my Billy Redwolf
Níl mé anseo níos mó, a chairde. Tá IGTF caillte...tachta le fógraí. Feicfidh mé sibh ar an suíomh seoMar a duirt Seán Michael i "The Secret of Roan Inish": "Ní mise bhur n-asal, a ainmhíthe gallda. Sacaigí suas i bhur dtóin é!"
