Hi, I have two meanings that I would like to be translated from English to Gaelic
Don't hit for your own sake.
Instead hit for someone else's sake, and risk your life to protect them.
Thank you (:

Hit as in strike? Ná tabhair buille ar do shon féin.
Ina ionad, tabhair buille ar son duine eile, agus téigh i bpriacal iad a chosaintWait for more.
Await confirmation always, please.

I'm not sure that using a plural pronoun with a singular noun (the so-called "singular 'they'") works in Irish. I'd use "é" rather than "iad." Redwolf
Níl mé anseo níos mó, a chairde. Tá IGTF caillte...tachta le fógraí. Feicfidh mé sibh ar an suíomh seoMar a duirt Seán Michael i "The Secret of Roan Inish": "Ní mise bhur n-asal, a ainmhíthe gallda. Sacaigí suas i bhur dtóin é!"
