The words have no meaning In the form presented.
Is this to do with Joyce?
If so there are two theories.
(1)That they are meaningless makey up words(which Joyce often used)
(2) That It is a corruption of some Irish words 'at the end of pleasure -there is pain'. This is very possible as bits of the words fit that meaning.
So on balance I think no 2 is correct.
