ok so what is the literal translation for that. I mean for it to say that a boy only sacrifices some things but a man sacrifices everything but what you guys are saying puts it much nicer. Thanks.

Literally, ff’s suggestion (with the change of íobairt iomlán to láníobairt) means “minor/partial sacrifice of the boys’, major/full sacrifice of the men”.
Not a native speaker. If in doubt, await native confirmation.

I think the previous posters had agreed on
Mioníobairt na mbuachaillí (agus) láníobairt na bhfear
a nicely balanced phrase in my opinion.
Kokoshneta gave the literal meaning in his post.
It amounts to The small sacrifice of the boys and the big sacrifice of the men.
I've taken the suggestion to add agus as a good idea because without agus it could possibly be construed to mean The small sacrifice of the boys is the big sacrifice of the men but if you need the space by all means leave it out.
