I am trying to figure out how to translate my bosses business card to Gaelic. Can someone help please?

I think people may have shied away from this thinking that, if it's for business in Ireland, someone in the company ought to be able to do the translating, or the company should pay someone to do it, but since the address is in Michigan, perhaps this is being done as a novelty of some sort for someone of Irish ancestry. Assuming that it is that sort of novelty, I'm translating some of the words which one would normally leave in English, including his name and translatable parts of the address: Dónal Ó Marcaigh, Páirtí UHY CFT [Comhpháirtíocht Freagrachta Theoranta = Limited Liability Partnership or LLP] Cúntasoirí Cairte ["Chartered Accountants", which is the more customary term in Ireland and the UK] __ Sráid an Halla, Seomra 500 Sterling Heights, Michigan 48313 Guthán Pearsanta: _______ Guthán Cinn: _______ Uimhir Facs: _______ Ríomhsheoladh: _______ Suíomh Gréasáin: _______ I'm still a learner, so be sure to get input from others, especially for tattoos.

Thank you so much! It is for novelty. He is of Irish Ancestry and he's really into his family heritage so he thought it would be neat to translate his business card. This is very much appreciated!

Prolly want to leave "Hall Road, Suite 500" in English though. I'd hate to see the expression on the local letter carrier when they try to figure out that one.

What are the middle names? This could change the initial, for example there is no letter J in Irish so if his middle name is James then James in Irish is Séamus so the correct name would be Tomás S. Mac Cailín. |
