That's good to know. I'd wondered about that, actually, as "green" is often used in English to mean "inexperienced."
If I wanted to say in Irish that I have a "green horse" (meaning one that's partially trained, not one that's actually colored green), could I use "glas" in some way, or would that be assumed to mean that the horse was grey? Or could I use a compound, such as "glasoilte"?
I'm always curious about this sort of thing.
