This is my favorite Enya song ("Ebudae"). I was told that it's in Gaelic. I don't speak Gaelic. What does it mean? Thanks.

Hi, I'm new to this site and I know just from the short encounters I've had so far you'll receive lots of help. However, if you love Enya try going to a site like this one, I found it when I was looking up some Irish translations help www.inter-change-search.net/ directory/Arts/Music/BandsandArtists/E/Enya/

Also try using your search engines. Type in Enya song translations
Smile and the world smiles with you, cry and you cry alone!

Here are a couple other links to go to, they are actual Enya sites. Her biography, lyrics, albums, and so on are at these sites. Hope this all helps.

Thanks for your input. I was able to find the translation of the "chorus" (the part that's spoken, only four lines) but not the whole song. Can anyone translate the rest of the song for me please? Thanks.

Just a shot in the dark, but I have a feeling it might be a Native American language. It sounds similar to Iroquin, but I honestly have no idea. Do a google search on the song and the languages and you should find something. Good Luck! :P
