I'm really begging someone to please translate those words in my previous post! I need these words for a current novel I am working on, and it would be much appreciated if my pleas do not go unheard. PLEASE! [/i]

Mists of the Valley

Art is more a gateway through time and space than an actual category that man tacks onto a painting.

‘Iníon, a ghirseach,

It’s long time coming but here you are, a thaisce,

- Dust = deannach
- Silence = (an) ciúnas
- Flame = lasair
- Raven = fiach dubh
- Forgotten = 'dearmadta' or possibly 'tréigthe' (depends on context)
- Ancient = ársa
- Brook = sruthán
- Storm = stoirm
- Relic = taismí (holy ones, in a church, etc.), iarsma (of the past, archaelogical, etc.)

Meas mór,

Tadhg
