Hey guys,

I'm looking for a gailic translation for the following phrase:

Take time to dream, it's the way to the stars.

Thanks a million!

No...that's not correct. Wherever did you find it?

I'm hesitating over "take the time" here, as I don't know if it's used literally in Irish, but I'll take a first, rough stab at it, and others will eventually correct it.

Tóg an t-am do chuid aislingí a leanúint, mar is bealaí chuig na réaltaí iad. Take the time to follow your dreams, as they are routes to the stars.

Definitely wait for more learned eyes on this!

Maybe:

Glac go réidh go leor ama chun do chuid aislingí a leanúint, is é an tslí chuig na réaltaí

Wait for more.
Await confirmation always, please.

An irish woman who learnt some gaelic in school gave it to me, but she wasn't too sure on it as well.

Would you agree with Gumbi's translation?

Thank you so much in any case.

Could please somebody have another look at the translation?
As far as I know, the phrase is an irish wisdom and I really want it as a tattoo with the constellation Orion.

Thanks you much for your time and input!
