I am getting a sword, and I would like to have these words on the blade.
While I know that this is an Irish site, if anyone also know the Scottish Gaelic translation, that would also be amazing.

May my Soul and my Sword, bonded together, be Forever Strong and Never Broken.
May they Cast out deamons wherever they are found.

It would be a good idea to edit your title to include.."SG". This way they (well, he really) will be more likely to see it.

What? Oh, sorry "Demon"...
it's a claymore, so yeah, it's big.
And it isn't like I'm gonna have it done in huge letters.
I know it'll fit fine.
(there's a good 45 inches of steel to fit the engraving on)

For the Scottish Gaelic:

Bitheadh m'anam 's mo chlaidheamh, ceangailte le chèile, làidir 's gun bristeadh gu bràth
May my soul and my sword, bonded together, be forever strong and unbroken.

Caitheadh iad deamhain a-mach, ge b'e càite a bheil iad
May they cast out demons wherever they are found.

For the Irish, perhaps:

Go raibh m'anam 's mo chlaíomh, ceangailte le chéile, láidir 's gan bhriseadh go brách
May my soul and my sword, bonded together, be forever strong and unbroken.

Go gcaithe siad deamhain amach, cibé áit a bhfuil siad
May they cast out demons wherever they are found.
