You might also consider:

Lá amháin i ndiaidh a chéile
or
Gach lá i ndiaidh a chéile

or just perhaps

Lá i ndiaidh a chéile

...depending on the way you are saying the sentence....

We will do this job one day at a time!
Déanfaidh muid an jab seo lá i ndiaidh a chéile!
Three should agree on any translation.

Well, if I were saying it I'd say:

Lá amháin i ndiaidh a chéile

We will do the work one day at a time = Déanfaidh muid an obair lá amháin i ndiaidh a chéile.
I will get through this one day at a time = Gabhfaidh mé tríd an donas seo lá amháin i ndiaidh a chéile.

... this is just the way I'd put it... please wait for the other opinions on this.
