Ah, FGB suggests it's muinín a chur i rud "to put trust in sth" but muinín a bheith agat as rud "to trust sth". Perhaps:

muinín as ár ngrá "trust from our love"

or perhaps closer to the original intent:

Tá muinín againn ... "We trust ..."

yep just saw that myself in the dictionary
as for have
i for put

so both
muinín inár ngrá
or
muinín as ár ngrá

would be acceptable....or not?

I'd suggest that the word i goes with cuir in the example and not muinín.

Going back to my own Leaving Cert, I was told muinín agam as...

but without the cuir nor the tá ag ....???
