The closest name I can find is Barnacle but whether Barnable is a derivative or another name altogether I don't know

Yes, it is am Irish name, part of our family. Have seen another spelling Barvnalill/Barnavell asnd wondered if either could have been the Gaelic

Closest i could find is Barneville - Bearnabhál
Barnacle in Irish is Ó Cadhain
But from the variations you've given it's more likely Bearnabhál
