i need two phrases translated for a tattoo
whatever will be will be and seize the day

Please don't append your new requests to someone else's topic. A moderator has split this off for you.

An Irish equivalent to "carpe diem" (seize the day) is "tapaigh an deis": Literally "seize/take the opportunity."

We would in that case as well (well, we wouldn't get pissy, but we'd lock the duplicate thread and include a link to the original). What happened, though, is you tacked a NEW question onto an existing thread that had been started by someone else. That's called a "hijack," and is frowned on at most forums.

Some 90% of our requests are for tattoos.

but the usual irish proverb/saying is

an rud a bhíonn, bíonn sé.
that which is, is.
