does the above mean
"May the grace of God be with you and may God never weaken my heart"?????
I love the way it is written but I cant figure out if that is indeed what it means.
The correct spelling of what you have been given would be
Rath Dé ort agus nár lagaí Dia mo lámh. but that would mean "God prosper you and may God not weaken my
hand."
What BB has given you above says what you asked for at first, and would say what you asked for the second time around (

) if modified as follows:
Go raibh grásta Dé agat agus nár lagaí Dia mo chroí"May the grace of God be with you and may God never weaken my heart"
I think the
go raibh may be optional when there is a prepositional pronoun indicating the action of giving. If
go raibh is removed the g on
grásta will be capitalised:
Grásta Dé agat agus nár lagaí Dia mo chroíThe above will work if the person receiving the grace of God is remaining where they are. If they are leaving,
grásta Dé leat may be more appropriate.
Grásta Dé duit and
grásta Dé ort may also be possible.
