I'm trying to find a reply, if any, to the following post from August 2008:

chris said,
August 21, 2008 @ 6:19 pm

"My husband and I have custody of our niece and are looking for a special name she can call us. . . . We are trying to find a special name so she does not feel left out when the baby comes and so she can differ[entiate us from] her other Aunts and Uncles but also does not upset her biological parents. Does anyone know of a tearm of endearment that may mean guardian, caretaker etc?"

The children I'm looking for a name to call me are my godchildren. I'm a sort of adopted brother of their grandmother or put another way, my niece's children--two boys and a girl.

I'm looking to Irish after not being able to come up with something from English, German, or Spanish--which I know pretty well--but we're Irish by descent, name of Ferguson.

Many thanks!

I would really appreciate any irish gaelic translations of the quote "brought me safe this far, faith will lead me home" I need it for a painting for my mother. Thank you very much for your time.
